Dry ingredients:
- 1½ cup of all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- ⅓ cup of granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup of raisins
- ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
Wet ingredients:
- ⅓ cup of unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 2 large bananas
Other equipment:
- Bread loaf pan
- Parchment paper

Step-by-step procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and place parchment paper in the bread loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas, add vanilla extract, egg and melted butter and mix evenly.
- Add sugar and raisins to the banana batter mixture and mix it in evenly.
- Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix until there is no dry flour. All mixing can be done by hand or using a mixer.
- Pour the batter in the baking dish and bake in the oven for approximately 40 minutes. Test for readiness by placing a toothpick in the bread. If there is no batter on the toothpick, the bread is ready.
- Place the bread on a cooling rack and serve once cooled.
